JENA HENDERSON

Ms. Henderson is an executive with cross-functional skillsets and more than twenty years of experience. She delivers on strategic objectives and profitability goals while enacting process improvement and ensuring brand positioning and team alignment.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Henderson was instrumental in the growth of the 100-unit restaurant franchise, Saladworks from 2005 to 2019. Her 14 years of work started as Regional Manager, and she completed her tenure as Vice President, Growth holding the following positions Brand Services, Business Development, Franchise Licensing Manager and Marketing Manager. Following Saladworks, Ms. Henderson was the Chief Operating Officer for WorkMerk, where she brought her restaurant operations experience to the technology sector. She was responsible for company strategy and departmental oversight, leading the charge with the National Restaurant Association in the creation of the ServSafe Ops Application.

Currently, Ms. Henderson is the President of Restaurant Brands for Michael Waltrip Taproom. 

Ms. Henderson earned her Masters of Business Administration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.

Joseph Wells

Joseph I. Wells serves as Director, Masters Programs, at the Earl G. Graves School of Business at Morgan State University. Mr. Wells also is the co-Director for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program in Baltimore. As Director in the Graves School, Mr. Wells has responsibility for branding, recruiting, marketing, admission, programming, career management, and alumni relations for all of the Masters programs. For the Goldman Program, Mr. Wells leads the recruiting an marketing of the program, the educational delivery to the scholars, and co-runs the entire Baltimore site.

Mr. Wells successfully leverages 25+ years of broad and deep multi-industry experience to drive bold strategic initiatives and deliver repeatable results in a competitive marketplace. Prior to Morgan State, Mr. Wells had a 16 year career in the Life Science space working for CSL Behring and Ikaria, a privately held Biotherapeutics company. With both firms Mr. Wells worked on a variety of corporate finance, mergers, investment, and partnership transactions. Mr. Wells started his career in Life Sciences spending 8 years with GlaxoSmithKline in sales and market research,

Oncology, business development, and strategy roles. Prior to his time in life sciences, Mr. Wells held positions of increasing responsibility with CoreStates Securities Corp, Merrill Lynch, National Westminster Bank, Plc, and the First Boston Corporation. In 2012, Mr. Wells was appointed to a 5-year term on the Council of Trustees of Cheyney University and was reappointed in 2017. Mr. Wells is a graduate of Princeton University and the Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Harvard Business School Club of Philadelphia and the Princeton Club of Philadelphia.
